This week's Hingham Journal features an extensive discussion of the Chamber's survey of the development prospects for South Hingham.

With the recent success of the Derby Street Shoppes and a proposed facility for South Shore Hospital, there is a new focus on the area around Exit 16.

Town officials asked the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and its Hingham Business Council to look into the area's business potential. Chamber President Peter Forman presented the results to the Board of Selectmen this month.
