Attorneys and staff of Murtha Cullina LLP participated in the 2011 Greater Boston Food Bank’s Legal Food Frenzy from March 28 through April 8. Through a combination of monetary donations, food collection, fundraisers, walks, a raffle, and friendly interoffice competitions, Murtha Cullina collected the equivalent of over 37,000 pounds of food towards the Greater Boston Food Bank’s mission to end hunger in the Commonwealth. At the award ceremony on May 2nd, Attorney General Martha Coakley presented Murtha Cullina with a Special Recognition Award for the Most Actual Food Collected by a Medium Firm. Murtha Cullina’s efforts placed them 4th in the overall competition amongst over 70 participating organizations.
“Murtha Cullina chose the Legal Food Frenzy as a community service project to support the Firm’s community impact as it celebrates its 75th anniversary, and through a Firm-wide effort, collected more than 18 tons of food for needy families” said Robert J.
