Are we preparing for a Green economy? Curry College has questions - and answers May 8

The Curry College MBA program hosts a program for business folks on Saturday, May 8 from 10:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.

They've invited Chamber members to attend the presentation and panel discussion on Green and Sustainable Initiatives. As green living and lending are becoming more mainstream, this program offers a way to answer questions and provide insight for those interested.

The program's free, but reservations are requested. Contact MBA candidate Jaime Haughey to save a seat.

Disaster Recovery Center opens in Quincy to aid flooded businesses and homeowners

The Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Small Business Administration have opened a Disaster Recovery Center in Quincy to assist businesses and residents that were hit by the recent floods and heavy rains.

FEMA recommends calling first to begin the registration process. Applicants should register by calling FEMA toll-free 800-621-FEMA (3362).

The location and hours of the Quincy Disaster Recovery Center are:

Quincy, MA 02169
Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
